38 days till we go.

Here is what we are doing. We are flying into Geneva. Staying there at some famous hotel. Go Orbitz.com. Taking a train to Chamonix, France. Staying in Chamonix for 2 days to acclimatize and come to grips with the reality of what we are about to do. Then hike for 11 days straight. Occasionally take pictures. Celebrate our 5 year anniversary. Then take train back to Geneva. Fly home.

Day 1: Fly to Geneva via London
Day 2: Arrive in Geneva
Day 3: Take Train to Chamonix, France
Day 4: acclimatize in Chamonix
Day 5: hike to Col du Forclaz
Day 6: hike to Champex
Day 7: hike to Verbier
Day 8: hike "on trail" (Cabane Louvie)
Day 9: hike "on trail" (Cabane Prafleuri)
Day 10: hike "on trail" (Cabane Dix)
Day 11: hike to Arolla
Day 12: hike to Grimentz
Day 13: hike "on trail" (Hotel Weisshorn)
Day 14: hike to Gruben
Day 15: hike to Zermatt
Day 16: take train to Geneva
Day 17: fly home
Day 18: go back to work and adjust to the daily grind again.

Till writing this I had no idea how long we would actually be gone. Wow.
